Suggested Guidelines for Mounting the RHFAC Plaque in order to be as accessible as possible:
- The centreline of the sign should be 1,500 mm high above the floor.
- The floor area where the sign will be mounted should be kept clear at all times for mobility devices to be able to approach and reach sign and for people who are blind to be able to read braille and raised lettering.
- Make sure there is sufficient lighting for sign to be visible and read but at the same time check for potential glare and shadows depending on where lights are pointed.
